Claude Monet Biography
"Claude Monet was born on November 14,1854 in Paris. On May 20, 1841 Claude Monet was baptized at Notre-Dame-de-Lorette. On April 1,1851 Claude entered the Le Havre college When he attended school, he liked to study about art. Before he started college, he went into war for two years. Claude Monet quit college because the teachers keep teaching past art but he wanted to learn new types of art. Later he joined Académie Suisse in 1862, there he met Pierre-Auguste Renoir and the college him and 3 other painters (including Pierre-Auguste Renoir) had different approaches to art with effect of light, rapid brushstrokes, and broken color and they made impressionism. On December 5, 1926 at age 86 Claude Monet died in Giverny, France."
